The Match Relationship/Mentoring

Building Relationships:  A Guide for New Mentors - published by the Hamilton Fish Institute, this guide discusses the characteristics of a successful mentoring relationship, provides mentors with the10 principles of effective mentoring and information on the mentoring relationship cycle.

Fostering Close and Effective Relationships - includes information about characteristics of successful relationships, mentee involvement, persistence and duration, rewards and challenges of mentoring.

Discovering the Possibilities:  "C"ing Your Future - a guide for mentors about instilling the value of college and career planning with their mentees. A 12-module curriculum is included that mentors can use during match sessions.
